Actors
Getting actors for the music video, I would have to consider their ability to not only perhaps do some acting in a way that shows certain expressions, their ability to lip-sync to a track and learn it off-by-heart, but also some mild dancing if the song requires it.
I am considering the actor I used for my project last year, Sam Allison, as he worked really well in the project before and was good in the scenes that I used, even though most of his scenes were cut out because the two-minute duration of the film introduction.
If the song is a sung by a female singer, then I will have to consider a female actress to take the role. I am considering Phoenix Cooper-Morriss who was due to be in my project last year but was not because I left the filming quite late into the year, thus holding up the editing. However, I could still keep Sam to perform within the music video, as I think he would be good, even if there was a female actress within it.
A schedule would have to be made and if, because of weather or actor unavailability, there would have to be different days ready. Unlike last year, I want to have the filming done in advance so that my editing can be done much quicker as there is the struggle this year of getting the lip-syncing perfect. Because of this I do need to arrange it in advance.
