Planning & Research - Risk Assessment

Risk Assessment

There is very little risk to the actor for the locations that I have chosen. The areas are woodland and they are within my local area. As for the possibility of perhaps doing some of the performance within the college's drama room, if that is possible, there is very little risk. If I need to operate the stage lights, and need assistance, then I will ask the teachers, who will be in the room next door.

The areas within the local area that I have decided to use are very good for filming, as I did use it last year for my AS Thriller and they are safe for myself and the actor to use. Myself and the actors are doing nothing extreme to get shots and the most movement the actor will do will be walking in a wide open space or sitting on a stool whilst inside. The filming equipment will be in no danger either where I am filming, with the only hazard being the weather damaging it.

I will have to pay a close attention to the weather and when I am due to film, as the camera could be damaged before I have finished my project.
